The Landings Club Lead Outside Service Attendant (Golf) in Skidaway Island, Georgia

Responsible for outside member service and providing immaculate outside operations while maintaining the functionality of all outside operation equipment.

  • Assists Professional Staff with Outside Operations Schedule

  • Coordinates and oversees preventative maintenance on golf cart fleet, ball washer, range picker and other outside operations equipment.

  • Liaison between golf car repair technician and staff.

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate monthly records of cart fleet maintenance.

  • Responsible for the golf car rotation schedule and maintaining documentation of proper rotation

  • Oversees outside operation safety guidelines, reporting safety concerns and organizing and hosting weekly safety meeting.

  • Responsible for outside operations supply par levels and supply orders.

  • Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of golf car storage facility and other outside amenities

  • Performs training of all new hire outside operation service team members

  • Responsible for the maintenance and weekly inventory of golf club rental sets.

  • Actively engaged with golfing members, greeting with a smile, and assisting in their needs.

  • Support professional staff with on course and range member services

  • Stage rental golf carts in a clean and organized manner.

  • Cleans golf carts thoroughly before and after use.

  • Returns any personal belongings left in carts to the golf shop.

  • Charges golf carts after use.

  • Reports any golf cart damage immediately.

  • Sets up driving range bag stands and supplies golf balls for each station.

  • Retrieves balls from range and washes them before their next use.

  • Retrieves broken golf cars from the golf course.

  • Performs all opening & closing tasks such as securing all golf cars and range balls.

  • Complies with departmental grooming standards.

  • Works variety of shifts, as needed to include nights, weekends and or holidays.

  • Complies with departmental and Club policies and procedures.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

  • 2-3 years Customer Service Experience Required

  • Golf Knowledge Preferred

  • Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions.

  • Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.

  • Must have the ability to manage a diverse workload, prioritize and delegate in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks and to deploy resources effectively.

  • Must have the willingness to provide exceptional service to members and desire to provide leadership to position the department to achieve the mission.

  • Ability to drive a golf cart.

    Physical Demands

  • Standing and walking 80% of shift

  • Bending and stooping 10% of shift

  • Ability to lift, carry or move from 1 pound up to 50 pounds for 5% of shift

  • Driving a golf cart for 90% of shift.
