Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equiv) in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Knowledge of structural analysis techniques, repairing and strengthening techniques, restoration and conservation of materials, and historical construction is required. This may have been gained through university coursework.Duties: Utilize engineering concepts in the restoration, preservation, renovation, and design of existing and new buildings, structures, and natural environments which hold significant historical, architectural, or cultural value. Perform engineering for assigned projects and collect data from the field. Establish engineering specifications and formulate foundational presumptions for the schematic design process. Provide technically accurate design solutions to complex engineering problems. Accomplish unique and demanding engineering tasks with precision and dedication. Conduct on-site inspections during the construction phase, generating comprehensive field reports. Coordinate and review the work of others. Conduct meticulous examinations of building structures and their current conditions, followed by the generation of comprehensive, detailed reports. All design work, opinions, and reports are reviewed and approved by project manager. May coordinate work of other engineers, drafters, and others who assist in specific assignments. *Position allows for hybrid-remote work and requires monthly travel to unanticipated client sites within two hour radius from office. Applicant must reside within commuting distance to office.
Minimum Salary: 58,864 Maximum Salary: 80,080 Salary Unit: Yearly
