Avera is seeking a strategic, communicative, and compassionate Outpatient Therapist.
This position may be eligible for an $8,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment

Job Summary
Responsibilities are to assist in coordinating, planning, implementing and facilitating programs and counseling services on an outpatient basis.
The outpatient therapist’s responsibilities may include several of the following areas: individual, group and family counseling, crisis services/evaluation, tele-therapy services, and current and future groups/programs.
All of these areas may involve providing assessments, facilitating treatment and crisis intervention of clientele affected by mental health or dual diagnoses issues.
Providing community/education services will be a part of this position and some travel is occasionally required.
Education and/or Experience
Master’s degree is required.
Three years related experience and/or training is preferred.
Preferred candidates will have clinical experience facilitating group therapy sessions and providing individuals counseling services.
Experience working with clients having dual diagnoses issues (addictive disorders in conjunction with mental health conditions).
Clinical experience with couples and/or family therapy is preferred.
Certification, Licensure, Registration
South Dakota Professional License required; which includes one of the following:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker-LCSW or
Licensed Professional Counselor or
Ability to obtain licensure within one year of employment.
Requires valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm School year, 1-2 days per week summer; Seasonal position; 67hrs/2wks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$28.75 - $43.50 per hour
