Job Summary
The drug screen technician organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient specimen collection procedures, specimen transport and point-of-care testing procedures following established standards and practices.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) or Phlebotomist Technician (PBT) from the ASCP preferred.
Work Schedule
PRN
Days; Monday - Friday; No weekends
In addition to working as needed, seeking availability to work 40 hours/week from mid-December to mid-March
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$18.25 - $24.00 per hour
