Description:
We are seeking reliable and dedicated On-Call Snow Removal Technicians to join our team. This seasonal role involves responding to snow events promptly to ensure the timely and effective removal of snow and ice from designated locations.
Responsibilities:
- Respond quickly to on-call notifications during snow events, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Operate snow removal equipment such as plows, snow blowers, shovels, and salt spreaders safely and effectively.
- Clear snow and ice from parking lots, walkways, driveways, and other assigned areas.
- Perform tasks as assigned by supervisors to maintain safe and accessible environments.
Requirements:
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks involving bending, stooping, and standing.
- Capability to work outdoors in cold, windy, and snowy conditions for extended periods.
- Punctuality and the ability to respond quickly to on-call notifications.
- Flexibility to work long hours during snow events.
- Must have weather-appropriate gear, including snow boots, thermal gloves, heavy-duty coat, hats, and face covers.
