Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Description:

A local company is seeking a dedicated Insurance Clerk to serve as the primary contact for renewing, presenting, and servicing insurance policies for customers and supporting the Agency Manager. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of insurance products, and the ability to manage policy-related tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers, prospects, and visitors via phone, email, and in person.
  • Present and renew insurance policies while ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Prepare and present quotes, and service policies, including changes, accident reporting, and document scanning.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer coverage.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Manage delinquent premium accounts and follow up on payments.
  • Maintain accurate and organized policy files.
  • Use Microsoft Office and insurance software to complete daily tasks efficiently.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by the Agency Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance software.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to obtain an insurance license within 90 days of employment.
