Description:
A local company is seeking a dedicated Insurance Clerk to serve as the primary contact for renewing, presenting, and servicing insurance policies for customers and supporting the Agency Manager. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a strong understanding of insurance products, and the ability to manage policy-related tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers, prospects, and visitors via phone, email, and in person.
- Present and renew insurance policies while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Prepare and present quotes, and service policies, including changes, accident reporting, and document scanning.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to enhance customer coverage.
- Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.
- Manage delinquent premium accounts and follow up on payments.
- Maintain accurate and organized policy files.
- Use Microsoft Office and insurance software to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Agency Manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience in a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance software.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to obtain an insurance license within 90 days of employment.
