Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position focuses on maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facility, ensuring proper disposal of motor oil, and supporting general upkeep. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and organization.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and properly dispose of used motor oil in compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Handle, store, and dispose of oil and related materials correctly.
- Clean and maintain the shop and surrounding areas, including floors, equipment, and workbenches.
- Sweep, mop, and organize workspaces to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Regularly empty trash cans and replace liners to maintain a clean facility.
Requirements:
- Previous maintenance or related experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a shop or warehouse environment with exposure to motor oil, cleaning chemicals, and related substances.
