About the Role:
As a Sub-regional Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing overseeing building operations and maintenance for South East Asia, Australia and South Korea offices. facility, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Facilities Managers to enable them to fulfill all the KPIs as well as client engagement.
· Provide leadership and supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
· Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
· Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors to be reflected into the maintenance management system.
· Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
· Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports in line with account finance target.
· Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.
· Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
· Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.
· Drive cost saving targets as per account targets via benchmarking and data analysis in coordination with sourcing lead
· Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
· Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
· Manage all the account KPI (per location) in-line with Account Lead targets
· Ensure RISE values of CBRE is observed at all times without any deviations
· Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and account objectives.
· Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
· Escalation on incidents or issues in a timely manner as per SLA agreed with client
· Ability to coordinate internally within CBRE organization to mobilize resource to support specific project work at the client’s request
What You’ll Need:
· Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Facility Management certification preferred.
· Operated as a service provider to serve client in various capacity would be valuable
· Acted as FM either as in-house capacity or served as an outsourced personnel
· Work experience in managing manufacturing or office space environment.
· Good understanding of building codes including safety requirement
· Knowledge about sustainability and energy program
