Medtronic Senior Manager, Service Commercial in Singapore, Singapore

As the Senior Service Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of the company’s service revenue across key markets. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to expand market share and revenue targets. Your expertise in selling Service will be crucial in expanding the company's presence and meeting customer needs across the region. This role requires a deep understanding of the diverse markets within Asia, a proven track record in sales leadership, and the ability to navigate complex business environments.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  1. Strategic Sales Planning:
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies for service offerings in the Asia region.

  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities, focusing on long-term service growth and expansion.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to refine sales strategies.

  1. Sales Team Leadership:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Set clear sales targets, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching to team members.

  • Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

  1. Client Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the industry.

  • Lead contract negotiations and manage key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

  1. Service Market Expansion:
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities for service offerings in new and existing markets.

  • Collaborate with the product and service development teams to align offerings with market demands.

  • Work with marketing to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive service adoption.

  1. Sales Performance Analysis:
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including revenue, Attach rates, and market share.

  • Use CRM tools and analytics to drive informed decisions and optimize sales strategies.

  • Adjust sales plans based on performance data and performance.

  1. Channel Partner Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and mange a Channel Partner team to enhance service distribution and market reach.

  • Collaborate with partners to drive service revenue growth and create joint business plans, set performance targets, and drive advancements.

  • Identify and onboard new channel partners that align with the company’s strategic objectives

  • Evaluate partner performance, making adjustments to strategy and support as needed to maximize results

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with product sales, operations, and marketing teams to ensure the services align with customer expectations and business goals.

  • Provide regional insights to inform service innovation and development.

  • Work with global sales teams to share best practices and coordinate efforts across regions.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Must Have

  • Requires broad sales, business development and management knowledge to lead teams in one department.

  • Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within the sales discipline, with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant sales experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant sales and leadership experience, with a focus on selling Service in the Asia region

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Proven success in driving sales growth and expanding service market share.

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.

  • Willingness to travel within the Asia region.
