Dow Jones Quality Analyst, Lists Assurance in SINGAPORE, Singapore
Job Description:
We are looking for a Quality Analyst to join our global team Lists Assurance team of Quality Analysts.
The team’s primary role is to ensure and promote the quality of output by the research team responsible for the Dow Jones Risk & Compliance Sanctions and Other Official Lists (“Special Lists”) content. The content forms a key component of Dow Jones Risk & Compliance research tools and services used by our clients to meet sanctions, counter terrorism financing and anti-money laundering regulations.
You will report to the Manager of Lists Assurance.
You Will
Conduct quality checks within set deadlines and according to existing processes.
Manually and automatically proof the details of the Special Lists data produced by the Special Lists research team.
Ensure data consistency, accuracy, completeness and timeliness across Special Lists content.
Adhere to robust pre- and post- production quality processes.
Log issues, analyze the data gathered, take remedial action and share feedback
Collaborate with Special Lists editors and automation team to improve processes and data quality across all content.
Work on technical aspects of both the existing and new automation tasks/projects.
Work with manager and colleagues to implement automation, expand existing scope and generate team efficiencies.
Contribute to the development and refinement of research methodologies, quality-assurance, and all other processes.
You Have
Innovative and strategic way of thinking to address complex data quality issues.
The ability to handle large and complex data sets in various formats, working to tight deadlines.
Advanced Excel Knowledge including Macros, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, Formulas (arrays, lookups, logical reference, and text functions).
Fluency in written and spoken English and at least one other language.
Presentation and communication skills.
The ability to work as part of a team and to tight deadlines, and to adapt readily to changing customer expectations.
Attention to detail
Preferred
Working knowledge of Python / SQL / Google App Script / Javascript / Microsoft Access to analyze data.
Experience in process or data automation/coding.
Experience in sanctions, counter-terrorism or other regulations.
Experience in working with a global team.
Education to degree level.
