Product Technical Support (PTS) Assistant Engineer

Key player responsible for product support of the equipment to the dealers/customers. This include:-
Warranty Management
Product support
Training for customers/dealers
Technical report and literature writing
Main tasks and responsibilities
Involvement in vehicle navigation and project commissioning, testing and troubleshooting.
On-site hardware and software troubleshooting
Work closely with customer’s engineering team to provide technical consultation and on- and off-site support.
Advise customers/dealers for all warranty issues
Conduct technical investigation and ensure prompt closure
Review the technical challenges and propose suitable technical solutions
Liaise with factory product support team to address the product support issues
Provide technical training to dealers/customers
Provide technical training to internal technical staff
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior.
What you’ll need to succeed
Education & Experience
Diploma in Electrical/Diploma in Mechanical/Diploma in Mechatronic
Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply, training will be provided
Skills & Competencies
Good knowledge in engines, transmissions, hydraulics systems and electrical systems is a plus
Background in Control Systems and/or Mechatronics is a plus
Team player
Possess great problem solving skills
Has excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must be independent and possess initiative
