Amazon Partner Business Operations Lead, APJ Partner Management in Singapore, Singapore

Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a dynamic results oriented candidate to join as the Partner Business Operations Lead as part of the APJ Partner Management Operations team. We are open to any APJ based candidates for this role.

The Partner Business Operations role is responsible for driving operational excellence and data-driven decision making across the AWS Partner organization. Key responsibilities include establishing a robust rhythm of business reviews (xBRs) to align on strategic priorities and performance, coordinating annual operational planning processes, owning the goal planning and tracking mechanisms, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and providing actionable insights and analytics beyond just goal metrics. The role serves as a true business partner, working closely with functional leaders to optimize and build scalable processes, elevate productivity, and enable the expansion and success of the AWS partner ecosystem. The Partner Business Operations team acts as a centralized program management function, driving initiatives that span across the Geo. This individual is a person who has a proven work ethic that drives the desired results.

Key job responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership team, providing data-driven insights and guidance to shape the overall business strategy and operations. Influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive optimal business outcomes.

  • Own and drive the "Rhythm of the Business" by establishing and maintaining effective business review cadences (weekly, monthly, quarterly), ensuring data-driven decision-making, cross-functional alignment, and sustained operational excellence.

  • Conduct analysis of complex data, translating the insights into actionable deliverables, messages, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

  • Manage the day-to-day operational processes of the business, while also leading the implementation of new tools and initiatives to continuously drive productivity improvements and process optimizations.

  • Drive the end-to-end goal setting, execution, and performance tracking process, aligning the organization's efforts with strategic objectives and fostering a culture of accountability.

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication, breaking down silos and enabling knowledge sharing to enhance organizational efficiency and responsiveness.

  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, effectively communicating insights, recommendations, and progress to business leaders and cross-functional partners.

  • Serve as a change agent, guiding the business through transformations and supporting the effective management of organizational change initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Support, Programs Ops or similar role in a corporate environment supporting a global hi-tech or global system integrator organization

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales operational processes, procedures and policies

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and experience with use of data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, Quicksight, QlickView) required (extensive knowledge of Excel required)

  • Financial, analytical and communication skills; Experience in preparing and executing presentations of technical and business level data to both peers and leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree

  • Understanding of cloud economics and / or experience working with cloud services

  • Have directly supported or had ownership of a program or line of business

  • Experience developing insights across various areas of customer-related data: financial, product, and marketing. Proven problem solving skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills.

  • Ability to drive a project end-to-end, deal with ambiguity, and competing objectives in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate in Korean is a plus.
