Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Revenue/Profit Management: Responsible for the marketing and revenue/profit management of BMS oncology product, such as Opdivo/Yervoy, maximizing business potential and return on investment.

  • Strategic Development: Develops strategies and tactics to optimize sales potential and maximize return on investment.

  • New Product Launch: Develops new product & indication launch plans and leads the pre-launch process in collaboration with a cross-functional team and WW team.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Leads effective interactions with key functions such as Sales, Medical, Alliance partners, Market Access, and other stakeholders to develop and execute business strategies.

  • Business Insight and Solutions: Addresses complex business issues by identifying key insights and providing relevant solutions.

  • Strategic Planning: Demonstrates sound planning skills in developing successful strategic and tactical marketing plans, including key initiatives, investment plans, long-term plans, and appropriate contingency plans on an ongoing basis.

  • Customer Needs and ROI: Focuses on addressing customers' needs from a long-term perspective, adept at identifying and responding to factors that will maximize return on investment for BMS.

  • Accountability: Takes personal responsibility for delivering strategic and tactical marketing plans and is accountable for contributing to the overall business performance.

  • Market Analysis: Conducts comprehensive analysis of business influences to assess optimal commercial solutions, requiring support from doctors, purchasers, politicians, and patients to secure funding for the products.

  • Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Identifies and cultivates relationships with key opinion leaders for current and future programs, focusing on mutual long-term benefits.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in pharmacy or business

  • Experience: Over 7years of commercial experience in pharmaceutical industry, Over 3 years of experience in marketing or digital channel, including developing and implementing strategic product marketing plans, sales forecasting, and tactical marketing plans in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Oncology Experience: Experience in oncology is mandatory.

  • Sales and Marketing: Successful experience in both sales and marketing is preferred.

  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated success in working with teams and partnering with other departments to develop programs and processes that align with business initiatives.

  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to ensure cross-functional engagement and collaboration.

  • Customer Understanding: Understanding of key customer needs and the ability to address them through the creation and successful implementation of business strategies and plans

BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility.
