Team Overview: Platform Client Engagement (PCE) is part of the Platform Product Office within BlackRock’s Aladdin Engineering organization. Our team supports over 200 external organizations that use Aladdin offerings.

PCE plays a crucial role liaising between our Aladdin business and the Aladdin platform, leading the technical implementation and support for new Aladdin clients, and providing business development support for clients across Aladdin’s technology Ecosystem.

Job Purpose / Responsibilities: The candidate will work in the PCE Aladdin Client Connectivity team, developing strong working relationships with a myriad of Internal and External teams to deliver tactical and strategic connectivity solutions and support for our client base accessing the Aladdin products.

  • Coordinate the technical last mile implementations and/or changes for new and existing Aladdin clients

  • Coordinate maintenance and support of client connectivity

  • Participate in ongoing documentation creation and maintenance

  • Additional technical work in support of the Aladdin business

Qualifications: A successful candidate is expected to possess and demonstrate the following:

Essential Skills:

  • An understanding of networking concepts

  • Experience coordinating the implementation of enterprise networking technologies

  • Technical troubleshooting of desktop technologies and basic TCP/IP networking

  • Strong technical writing skills or previous documentation experience

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work in a team environment

  • Results-oriented professional committed to personally driving objectives to completion

  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support engineer, desktop support engineer, IT help desk, or similar role

Desirable Skills:

  • Understanding or experience with Azure or AWS cloud network technologies

  • Scripting or basic development language skills to automate common tasks

  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
