A day in the life of...

• Review day to day transactions executed by Dealers/ Hedge Accounting.

• Review internal control processes for treasury activities

• Advise regional markets team on hedge accounting posting and concept in accordance to IFRS 9 in SAP

• Check and review the Commercial hedging performance reported

• Preparing and monitoring daily/weekly/monthly/annual counterparty limit report

• Arrange with stakeholders for annual limit review

• Daily confirmation of deals and accuracy

• Perform SWIFT/manual trade confirmation with banks.

• Follow up and resolve any unmatched deals independently

• Responsible in arranging SWIFT confirmation setup for markets

• Ensure proper archiving and filling documents

• Ad hoc compliance control check for treasury activities/projects

• Streamline process/automation

What will make you successful

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or audit firms with knowledge of treasury

• University degree in Accounting and professional qualification from a relevant body ie CPA, ACCA

• Proficiency in analytical tools such as PowerBI and Excel, proficiency in Power Automate, Macro and SAP is a plus

• Prior knowledge of hedge accounting
