Citigroup LPTM Data Management & Reporting Analyst - Wealth Credit Management in Singapore, Singapore
Job Description:
Wealth Credit Management (WCM) at Citi is a newly formed business line to provide integrated end to end credit underwriting, transaction and portfolio management in partnership with all the origination businesses of the Private Bank and Wealth Management of Citi. Data Management & Reporting team (DRT) is a critical team responsible for preparing various Management and Control Reports, performing deep dive analysis on data to arrive at key trends and key insights at portfolio level. The team serves as a primary contact for all internal and external audit queries and data tracing examinations, as well as plays a critical role in representing the Loan Product and Transaction Management (LPTM) team in various control forums.
We are looking to hire an experienced professional to perform Reporting & Analytics role within the Loan Product and Transaction Management group in WCM covering Asia Pacific.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and prepare key Control Reports and portfolio Monitoring Reports for WCM managed Products
Prepare time-sensitive deliverables on a regular and on-demand basis by closely working with Product / Portfolio heads
Identify and implement automation, data improvements, and consolidation opportunities to continually streamline and standardize key reports
Satisfy reporting requirements based on regional needs
Coordinate and work with Underwriters and team leads to ensure key portfolio metrics are not breached
Contribute to the creation of processes, standards, procedures, controls and training for the function
Implement various KRIs and KPIs to enhance data quality, and construct dashboards using BI reporting tools
Identify trends / gaps in large data sets and arrive at sustainable solutions to resolve the gaps
Collaborate with Underwriters, Team leads and other stakeholders and constructively work towards sustainable solutions
Work with Business Risk and Control team to provide business feedback for MCA results
Work with Infrastructure / Technology teams to ensure system enhancements are aligned with the needs of management reporting
Assist with relevant audits both internal and external
Coordinate regulatory related and other adhoc requests as needed
Coordinate data tracing exercises with Underwriters, Data Governance, Operations and other teams within the Wealth business
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Ability to work with Large, Complex Data Sets
Good understanding of Lending products
Understanding of data governance and management
Proven ability to collaborate with team members and senior management both within the lines of business and across multiple stakeholders
Highly developed analytical and decision-making capabilities including the ability to identify, escalate, and propose and execute solutions to complex problems
Ability to multi-task through the practice of strong organizational and time management skills with experience in continuously following-up with various stakeholders
Strong influencing skills and ability to work in an environment where priorities are frequently changing
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in large financial institution is a must
Advance skill in Excel / VBA / Python / Power Point & Word is a MUST
Advance skill in BI visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, COGNOS, Business Objects) is a MUST
Good understanding of credit risk concepts and underwriting processes
Familiarity with lending rules and regulations is a plus
Developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong attention to detail
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to take initiative, self-motivate and work independently
Ability to turn around deliverables quickly and under tight timing constraints and deadlines will be critical
