What you’ll learn & achieve:
We are currently recruiting an additional member as Lab Tech for our Consumer Technology team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to see exciting new technologies and services that would be responsible for evaluating, explaining, and completing the test report for less complex customer samples. These are steps follows basic defined EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) test plans and data sheets. Operates and maintains EMC test equipment to test customer samples. To communicates with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation.
Follows complex defined EMC test plans and datasheets utilizing a single technology. Evaluates test performance and sample operation to properly evaluate test results. Records and explains test results and completes test report.
Examines less complex customer samples and learns to operate appropriate tests for each case. To communicates with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation.
Reads and understands specific product/test standards and testing technology for scope of responsibility.
Operates and maintains simple test equipment appropriately to measure and test customer samples. To performs simple maintenance on designated test equipment and laboratory area. May need to perform basic calibration of test equipment.
Operates with minimal supervision within defined limits of responsibility.
Integrates basic continuous improvement concepts and techniques into all aspects of the job. To communicates with management and technical staff to provide suggestions for new equipment, processes, and forms to improve accuracy and efficiencies.
What makes you a great fit:
ITE or Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology and other relavant educational course in the related discipline.
Fresh graduate are welcome to apply
Familiar with test standards and certification process
Effective communication skills and ability to interact with customers
Organized and have excellent time management skills
Proven ability to be innovative and creative
Desire to work in a team oriented environment
