A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Perform routine microbiological sampling and testing includes but not limited to environmental monitoring, particle sampling, viable air and surface testing and growth promotion test

• Perform microbial and endotoxin testing on product, process water.

• Perform data compiling and trending on testing results.

• Responsible for maintaining and ordering sufficient reagents and supplies, ordering equipment and maintaining the equipment in good working conditions in a calibrated and validated status.

• Perform Laboratory housekeeping and laboratory inventory check/ordering to support testing

• Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.

• Support validation/qualification for microbiological testing and laboratory equipment

• Assure that all required documentation including records and logs, is complete and accurate according to the current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). File and archive laboratory records and data in accordance with GMPs and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Support micro lab projects as assigned by superior.

• General lab support.

Must Have:

• Diploma in Biotechnology, Science, Applied Science or a related discipline

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in microbiology laboratory in a manufacturing environment

Your Profile:

• Able to work with biological agents and good aseptic skills.

• Able to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision both individually and in team environments.

• Highly motivated fast learner.

• Experience in the application of the protocols of validation and/or tests of validation produced.

• Computer skills required in Excel and Word.

• Strong communication skills to participate in multicultural and multi-departmental teams.

• Good analytical skills
