JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager, Talent Acquisition, supports the Director, Human Resources Services APEC in the continent’s human resources services support, specializing in Talent Acquisition to the above property offices in Asia Pacific excluding China (APEC), particularly Singapore Office. Provides sourcing and recruiting support to the APEC teams. Builds the organization’s edge on direct sourcing capability and reduces the reliance on external recruitment agencies. Focuses on delivering HR services and enable business success; ensures compliance with legislation and Marriott International operating procedures.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Work together with the Director, HR Services, APEC in the end-to-end recruitment process for selected functions in the APEC offices
Own the recruitment of the positions, mapping strategies, university relations, and recruitment vendors.
Manage the recruitment cycle from Junior to Senior levels.
Ensure a full pipeline of candidates through the publication of roles both internally and externally, and ensure a smooth process for all hiring managers and candidates
Work closely with the business side in order to fully understand the organization structure of teams
Identify new sourcing channels to support the various pipelines and talent needs across the offices
Help actively drive all sourcing channels, including employee referrals, utilization of vendors, campus hiring, etc.
Build, develop and cultivate various sourcing channels to support the direct sourcing strategy
Take active part in the full cycle of recruitment efforts, including emphasis on strong interview and assessment skills to effectively evaluate candidates and ensure the best fit
Support the other HR Services initiatives, as and when required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education
- University degree required
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, staffing or talent research of which direct sourcing is a major component
Combined experience at both recruitment agency and well-established corporate setting preferred
Previous experience working in a complex organization environment with matrix reporting structure
Asia Pacific excluding China market knowledge is an added advantage
Skill and Competency
Up to date specialist skills in sourcing, recruiting and related technology
Skills and knowledge in using Oracle recruiting system
Full proficiency in English and at least one Asian language
Well-rounded communication skills and positive work attitude are required
