The Head of Integrated Logistics Business Development Asia Pacific at Kuehne+Nagel in Singapore leads strategic growth and innovation in the region. This role involves developing integrated logistics solutions, enhancing customer satisfaction, and expanding market presence. Strong leadership and deep logistics knowledge are essential.

Your Role

Business Development Manager is the sales executive responsible to develop new Integrated Logistics business within ASP region. S/He defines the go to market strategy together with Global Head of Integrated Logistics Business Development. S/He manages all Business Development actions over the countries and actively approaches new potential customers to trigger opportunities for business development.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategy to win new business across entire FY product portfolio (eControl, 4PL product catalogue)

  • Maintain and develop strong business pipeline for Integrated Logistics within ASP

  • Timely identification and rectification of issues to improve processes

  • Strong relationship with customers

  • Pro-actively engage with prospect accounts in target segments (verticals//countries) to build business development pipeline

  • Engage with KN sales teams (Key Account Sales, National Sales) as well as relevant BU counterparts (especially senior CL leadership) to identify and approach prospect customers

  • Manage constant pipeline level to secure BD targets

  • Apply opportunity development process (ZeroFailure) to ensure strong opportunity qualification and governance

  • Ensure full representation of pipeline development in CRM (CoreLOG)

  • Act as key interface to customer stakeholders during entire opportunity cycle

  • Coordinate creation and delivery of customer specific value proposition leveraging Integrated Logistics standard services, in close collaboration with Integrated Logistics Solution Development

  • Lead commercial negotiation with customer to secure business win

  • After successful business award, lead contracting process with customer, in close collaboration with KN Legal

  • Liaise with global Integrated Logistics Business Development community to shape go-to-market approach

  • Own and/or support specific go-to-market initiatives to strengthen awareness, positioning and lead generation for service offering of KN Integrated Logistics

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chainpreferably with time spent in a business development sales environment

  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Track record in attract, pursue and close

  • Experience in Asia supply chains and relevant internal and external network
