What the day will look like

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Insurance/Claims department (Singapore operations) in order to ensure that corporate strategy, plans and budgets are achieved and that administration service excellence is delivered to clients.

  • Responsible for leading captive service teams overseeing a portfolio of captive insurance accounts.

  • Lead business development strategy and initiatives. Support the local and regional teams in the promotion of open market insurers and captives, both to internal and external prospects.

  • Lead captive expertise on captive insurance markets, captive and protected cell company developments.

  • Review board meeting materials and effectively present insurance, financial and other relevant information to board members.

  • Support Finance team in IFRS 17 & other systems implementation.

    How this opportunity is different

    A key relationship lead on captive insurance accounts and will have strong relationships with clients, representatives, and regulatory agencies. A strategic leader on both the client portfolio and general office growth and development. Part of the senior management team overseeing the budgets and revenue, business development, business operations, and risk, governance, and compliance.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in Captive Insurance

  • Strong track record of establishing business plans and executing the plan, ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and focused on execution.

  • Well connected across international markets; strong influencing skills; ability to work collaboratively and in cooperation with various stakeholders.
