What will you do?

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality control and compliance with relevant SOPs and work instructions for all test outputs.

  • Perform requirement analysis and collaborate with the team to address identified gaps, risks, and discrepancies.

  • Maintain and create test cases with clear structure to enable traceability throughout the project.

  • Develop software test plans that outline appropriate methodologies, strategies, coverage, and setup.

  • Seamlessly integrate with the overall project's direction and schedule.

  • Test the functionality of software according to the test plan and respective test cases.

  • Submit and analyze defects, providing supporting materials for efficient resolution.

  • Participate in defect reviews, root cause analysis, and evaluation of proposed solutions.

  • Record test results in a clear and concise manner, preparing the final test report.

  • Automate functional manual test cases, as well as performance and stress testing.

How will you get here?

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related major or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

  • Knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.

  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive results, including test cases, test recordings, and test reports.

  • Practical knowledge of testing techniques for embedded devices/instruments, including hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive testing.

  • Familiarity with automated testing using tools such as pytest and Squish.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Enjoy the challenge of pushing the boundaries and testing edge cases that may break software.

  • Possess the ability to provide usability feedback to improve software functionality.

  • Experience working with Linux systems.

  • Testing experience with 21 CFR part 11 systems is advantageous.
