Director, Commercial B2B, Advisors Business Development

Mastercard Advisors, the professional services arm of Mastercard 's Data & Services organization, provides payments-focused consulting services to financial institutions and merchants worldwide. With its unique category expertise, deep understanding of customer needs and successful track record in addressing complex challenges throughout the payments lifecycle, Mastercard Advisors addresses the challenges and opportunities of its clients, enhances Mastercard's strategic and tactical performance and establishes Mastercard's global thought-leadership pre-eminence.

This is a Business Development role within Advisors Incubator team a part of Data & Services organization. This role is responsible for driving the Commercial/Large market agenda for Data & Services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Working with broader MC Advisors sales organization to access client needs and strategic agenda. Use MC Advisors Commercial and Large Market capabilities to differentiate and expand the commercial and large market business with customers, including managing new products, new flows, new services, new partners, etc.

• Leading key regional and local Commercial initiatives to grow the Advisors/Data & Services P&L

• Support rest of the sale team on end-to-end sales efforts from research and storyboarding to client presentations and contract signing

• Bring in new thought leadership to establish MC Advisors brand across key customer stakeholders

• Work with Delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of Commercial projects sold

• Achieve sales targets responsibly and ethically, and with customer needs in mind

• Build and inculcate relationships to become a trusted advisor to Senior/Executive level clients

The position will be based in Singapore and will require occasional travel within APAC.

All About You

• Strong experience in the Commercial cards, Transaction banking and/or Cash Management from product and sales perspective.

• Deep understanding of B2B and T&E payment trends, current market landscape and gaps. Ability and past experience to manage internal and external relationship and business P&L.

• Strong experience in consultative sales, commercial banking and managing senior client stakeholders.

• Ability to develop compelling sales narratives in influencing sales closure. Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop, and close a sale

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

• MBA preferred but not required (strong candidates without graduate degree will be considered)

• Highest level of self-motivation with a hunting-attitude

• Strong problem solving skills and first principles thinking

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills

• Language requirement: proficient English is a must.
