We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President , Custody Senior Product Manager based in Singapore. The Product Management Senior Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Global Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic product roadmaps, product enhancement and development, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers

  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results

  • Execute client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients

  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members

  • Oversee client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and assist product managers in addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions

  • Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans

  • Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics

  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree. Master’s degree preferred

The Custody Product Specialist will be responsible for executing the global product strategy for custody services for the Wealth segment in Asia. The ideal candidate should possess working knowledge and experience of custody offering and services.

The role will require support extensive stakeholder management, data analytics, product lifecycle, product management and partnering with sales functions and frontline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive product P&L – revenue, profitability, returns, plan, balance sheet. Define and drive achievement of targets and financial performance.

  • Define and manage strategic roadmap, development, launch, and marketing to gain maximum benefit from custody product suite.

  • Lead Global Custody product differentiation and innovation efforts, including launch of initiatives to increase revenues. Work with global partners to drive consistent and seamless improvement in custody capabilities.

  • Execute on key strategic priorities of the Custody business, including solutioning and operationalizing Funds Custody.

  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies for Custody business across Wealth segments in Singapore & Hong Kong with primary focus on private bank clients.

  • Oversee day-to-day product management functions such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies.

  • Oversee all aspects of product life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field.

  • Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions.

  • Analyze key market developments across Asia with a view to proactively provide actionable market intelligence to clients and to support market advocacy efforts.

  • The candidate will be part of the Regional Product team responsible for driving key business priorities including product initiatives, new client solutions, deal related discussions, opportunities to deploy new technology & innovation etc.

  • Maintain product programs and participate in risk, control and regulatory reviews and governance forums, operations resilience exercise.

  • Connect to industry sources to share industry specific updates to product and operations partners.

  • Support Bankers and Product Sales Specialists regarding Custody enquiries.

  • Routinely meet with product, control function and implementation partners.

  • Provide oversight over 3rd party service providers e.g., sub-custodian, data vendors.

  • Manage 3rd party relationships including performance of Annual due diligence, review service levels.
