The Project Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting the development of new products and customer specific projects from product quality point of view.

What you’ll do:

  • Leading and coordinating all project quality actions for the new projects.

  • Monitoring quality objectives of each project,

  • Understanding the needs of the customers and specifications of products at the initial phase of a project,

  • Supporting and providing information to the project team,

  • Developing and executing a clear quality plan to provide quality related inputs for domestic and global projects

  • Collaborating with process quality engineering team to implement lessons learnt and best practices at the development stages,

  • Establishing quality objectives and program KPI's and communicating clearly to all stakeholders ensuring alignment,

  • Providing quality updates including progress and problem/high risk areas, and updates to all key stakeholders.

  • Evaluating customer complaints received from the after-sales department and taking related actions.

Qualifications:

  • University degree of Mechanical or Material or Electrical Engineering (preferred master degree)

  • Minimum 5 years' of experience in quality function in automotive business or related/similar technical area

Skills:

  • Having high level understanding of technical drawings, PPAP, PFMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, 8D, A3, Histrogram, Pareto, basic statistics and other core quality tools,

  • Knowledge of ISO9001

  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge and/or experience and/or belt certification and Minitab usage is a plus,

  • Excellent command of English

  • Positive, proactive, committed.

  • Ability to work within an international, culturally diverse and matrix-based organization.
