Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a Level 1 or 2 Quality Inspector for either the day or night shift. The role involves conducting inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. You will use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances, perform visual inspections to identify defects, and document inspection results. Collaboration with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.

  • Perform visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or non-conformities.

  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.

  • Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years of on-the-job experience in manufacturing.

  • Proficiency in quality standards and the ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.

  • Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

  • High School Diploma required.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing environment, which can be occasionally loud. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. The hours for the 1st shift are 5 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Thursday) with opportunities for overtime, typically 4-6 hours a week. The assignment is temp to hire, lasting approximately 90 working days (about 4 months). Attendance and tenure are highly valued. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.68 - $25.00
