Robert Half is partnered with a company in the education field and we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their finance team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable operations using NetSuite and Excel, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently using NetSuite and Excel.

• Generate and send customer invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and adherence to payment terms.

• Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to customer payments and billing.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging report and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve billing disputes promptly and professionally.

• Maintain accurate records of customer payments, adjustments, and collections activities.

• Prepare periodic reports and analysis on accounts receivable performance and aging trends.

• Assist with month-end close processes related to accounts receivable, including accruals and reconciliations.

• Stay informed about industry best practices and updates related to accounts receivable processes and systems.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance role.

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounts receivable management is required.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and data analysis functions.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to accounts receivable.

• Experience in the education industry or with subscription-based billing systems is a plus.
