We’re seeking an experienced Cyber Security professional to join our growing team of professionals who work on the security of our Products. As a Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT) Program Manager, you will support the day-to-day vulnerability response process as well as efforts to implement best practice methods, processes, tools and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at unifying, simplifying, scaling, and increasing the efficiency of Honeywell’s PSIRT processes.

  • Manage the end-to-end workflow for handling and responding to external vulnerability reports, working with Product Security staff, engineering, and support organizations such as Communications & Legal.

  • Publish and maintain security advisories and knowledge base articles across various programs.

  • Support implementation of best practice methods, processes, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at scaling and increasing the efficiency of the PSIRT process.

  • Present and communicate status to business stakeholders and Honeywell leadership.

  • Support and strengthen security researcher outreach and community-building.

  • Function as a peer leader assisting with overall productivity and the development and implementation of security initiatives across the enterprise.

  • Evaluate utility of current tools, make recommendations for improvements, and work directly with leadership and vendors, as appropriate, to move updates forward in a timely manner.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 5 or more years of experience in Product Security, PSIRT, software development and/or pen testing.

  • MUST be a US citizen due to contractual obligations.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelors or Masters degrees in Computer Science, Cyber Security or related fields

  • Good understanding of the technical issues involved in how systems can be compromised

  • Ability to communicate with external security researchers and internal development teams at a credible technical level to coordinate sharing of relevant technical information

  • Strong project management skills: planning, organizing, monitoring, and reporting on project activities

  • Understand of importance of security and its business impact

  • Strong logical and process management skills

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with strong customer focus and accountability

  • SANS GIAC, (ISC)2 CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, PMP certifications

  • Experience working in a global team, and working in a global virtual environment

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Strong English language skills are required – written and verbal

  • Good judgment, tact, and decision-making ability

  • Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to work with cross cultural teams
