OB/GYN Practice Manager

Position Purpose:

The OB/GYN Practice Manager oversees daily operations and provides leadership for the OB/GYN clinic. This role ensures that departmental activities align with Holy Cross Health’s goals, policies, and professional standards, while promoting high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care. The manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing patient experiences and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage and lead daily operations to meet organizational goals and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

  • Oversee the recruitment, retention, development, and performance management of staff, including RNs, CNAs, and clerical team members.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Nurse Practitioners, residents, RNs, and CNAs, to ensure optimal patient care.

  • Improve patient experiences by streamlining clinic operations and allocating resources effectively to maximize care.

  • Understand the financial and operational aspects of running a healthcare practice, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.

  • Lead quality improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance care delivery and patient satisfaction.

  • Act as a professional role model and representative of Holy Cross Health’s Mission, Vision, and Values.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; graduate degree in a related field preferred.

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or a Compact State.

  • BLS certification required; additional life support training as applicable.

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care or health center setting (preferred), with 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Strong understanding of office practice operations, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills to oversee clinic staff and operations.

  • Ability to improve workflows, enhance patient care experiences, and manage resources effectively.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.

Pay rate: $40.99 - $61.49

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
