As part of a drill crew, floor hand will be operating machines and maintaining equipment used in surface drilling operations. Most time will be spent on the rig floor assisting the driller in a multitude of functions. Schedule is normally a 12 hour shift, 14 on 14 off, working days and nights Correct chain of command must be followed at all time and all problems and safety violations must be reported immediately. Duties may include but are not limited to: *Working the rig floor while tripping (pull slips), make connections *Assisting Derrick Hand and Motor Man *Keeping Rig and location tidy as directed by Supervisor *Cleaning restroom house after every shift * Organize and maintain Conex, XO basket, tools, slips, bowls, and welding trailer * Any other duties requested and assigned by supervisor as needed experience preferred but will train the right candidate Must be over 18 years of age Posses a valid Driver's License Able to work 12 hour shifts on a 14 on 14 off rotation Must be able to follow instruction both verbal and written Must take instruction and direction and work well in a team environment while following proper safety protocols Must be able to work in varying and extreme whether conditions Full job description available at Sidney Job Service (tray number 16)
