Check out your future responsibilities below:

• Responsible to launch new components for respective technology at suppliers

• Responsible for sourcing and Component Introduction (APQP).

• Execution of Maturity Evaluation and Supplier Component Review with potential suppliers being consider for new projects.

• Responsible to lead and drive Product Change Request.

• Define Category Strategy and maintain Supplier panel in cooperation with Category Purchasing to meet BAs’ business need.

• Responsible for new supplier, technology, and location release according to aligned strategy with category purchasing based on VDA 6.3

• Negotiate General Quality Agreement with the Suppliers

• Maintain and update Technology Release Matrix as quality Supplier Coach

• Execution of VDA 6.3 audits

• Develop suppliers to get familiar with Continental core processes, procedures, tools and systems, Category specific requirements and execute accordingly

• Lead and drive Supplier Development activities and Supplier Quality Improvement Programs (SQIP).

• Manage escalations worldwide within PLA category.

• Collect, evaluate, approve, and share Lessons Learned along the Supplier Base and SQM CAT, SQM Plant in regular basis.

• Track and validate Read Across implementation along supplier base.

• Provide category specific training to SQM community.

• Perform BASE evaluation in yearly basis

• Validate/approve new products launch at suppliers

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers in different Management Levels.

• Very good English skills (written/spoken)

• Systematic thinking and open-minded

• Problem-solving skills

• High level of ownership, Self-driven and with eagerness to learn

• Able to work independently and travel frequently (around 50%)

• Willing and capable to work with different cultures

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/electrical/mechanical engineering or related

• Experience in automotive, and in quality management/supplier quality

• Rich experience of quality systems e.g. IATF16949, VDA6.3, quality tools such as FMEA, 8D Methodology, Ishikawa/5 Why APQP/PPAP. Certified process auditor (m/f/diverse) (VDA 6.3) is a desired.

• Preferably, knowledge in plastic molding, optical parts, and its sub-processes e.g., painting, chroming, welding, and assembly.
