Caddo Community Action Agency Environmental Technician in Shreveport, Louisiana
- Able to lifter at least 40 pounds
- Able to bend and reach correctly and carefully.
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Must be able to hold and operate heavy duty vacuum cleaners, buffers, and other electrical equipment.
- Responsible for scrubbing, mopping, waxing, vacuuming, polishing and stripping floors, in assigned buildings and/or Head Start Center.
- Responsible for dusting, waxing and polishing furniture in assigned buildings or Head Start Center.
- Wash windows, woodwork walls and washroom fixtures.
- Responsible for replenishing washroom supplies.
- Move office furniture and equipment as needed.
- Arrange classrooms and meeting area when necessary.
- Daily empties and cleans wastebaskets, sand jars, receptacles in lobbies, offices, classroom, etc. in assigned areas
- Sweep and clean sidewalks and driveways.
- Responsible for working around small children, parents and staff in a tactful manner.
- Performs other duties as needed.
