Job Title: Janitorial Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Supervisor to coordinate and oversee the activities of cleaning workers in a warehouse environment. This role involves ensuring a safe working environment, monitoring employee productivity, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of cleaning workers or service employees engaged in cleaning and maintaining warehouse environments.

• Ensure a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.

• Monitor employee productivity and provide suggestions for increased service or productivity.

• Coordinate routine responsibilities of subordinates and assign specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management.

• Responsible for orientation and training of employees.

• Perform day-to-day assignments in addition to lead duties.

• Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in areas such as quality, service, and problem resolution.

• Take an interest and initiative in the development of the facilities team.

• Comply with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.

• Report all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.

• Participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.

• Apply all applicable OSHA and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.

• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

• Attend training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.

• Apply complex skills appropriate for the position.

• Adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to meet the requirements of the position.

• Apply knowledge of department policies and procedures and utilize a general understanding of other departments' functions.

• Typically lead 3 to 10 employees.

• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
