Tasks & Responsibilities

This role will be part of the IT Marketing & Sales Customer Facing Excellence team. Our team delivers innovations in systems, applications, and tools which enhance customer experience, customer insight, and enables end-to-end marketing to sales customer engagement.

In your new role, you will be part of a Japan Business Analyst team, working with teammates across multiple countries on global projects and supporting the Japan business.

This role provides demand management, business analysis, domain architecture, project management and information technology-related services to assigned business clients; may also provide program management services.

Through ongoing consultation with business clients, this role identifies and analyzes business needs, influences, and negotiates scope and requirements, makes sure enterprise architecture, and champions innovative process changes and/or technology-enabled solutions.

In this role, the person responsible for the identification, analysis, and execution of business initiatives that leverage digital technologies to drive growth, brand equity, and compliance. In this highly collaborative role, this position will lead both internal resources and external partners throughout the system development process including architecture design, verifying the features, strategizing the rollout, and confirming the support model.This would include the ongoing maintenance, optimization, 3rd-level support facilitation and basic technology consulting with good understanding of M&S Japan’s system architecture.

Based on your knowledge, you ensure that appropriate systems and services are developed and delivered in an effective and efficient manner.

You act as Business Analyst throughout the complete product lifecycle by applying a combination of strategy, functional knowledge, and technology.

In addition, you lead various programs and projects to foster innovation and create business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or IT-related field WITH minimum 5 years of experience in a large and/or global business environment, including 3 years of experience leading business systems projects in conjunction with business process improvement, and decision-making support.

  • Strong business process knowledge, and a demonstrated capability to apply technology solutions in addressing business issues.

  • Strong experience in system analysis, design, and implementation.

  • Strong understanding of CRM solutions and processes

  • Demonstrated project management capability based on the successful completion of projects.

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability, including strong conceptual and analytical skills and ability to turn findings into executable plans.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent people skills.

  • An entrepreneurial mindset, strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge in digital technologies, and a deep understanding of business, consumers, and culture

  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese

  • Experience working in the Pharma/Life Science industry would be a plus.
