Catholic Health Initiatives Specialty Clinical Educator Nurse in Sherwood, Arkansas

Overview

As our Specialty Clinical Educator RN at CHI St. Vincent North, you will help neurosurgery program staff and floor nurses deliver top-quality patient care by providing innovative education, coaching, and process improvement strategies. Your expertise will directly enhance the outcomes for neurosurgery patients and elevate the skills of our healthcare teams.

Every day you will assess educational needs, design and deliver training programs, and collaborate with staff to ensure best practices in neurosurgery care. You will be expected to evaluate and adjust educational initiatives, facilitate group learning, and document project outcomes effectively.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills, along with substantial neurosurgery experience and a passion for adult education.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and evaluate the educational needs of nursing staff in the neurosurgery program.

  • Develop and implement curriculum and action plans to address identified needs.

  • Facilitate adult learning through interactive group sessions and hands-on training.

  • Manage multiple educational projects simultaneously, ensuring successful outcomes.

  • Collaborate with department leaders to promote best practices and quality improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s Degree preferred).

  • 3+ years of neurosurgery experience.

  • Unencumbered license to practice in the State of Arkansas

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Pay Range

$34.46 - $45.58 /hour
