Eaton Corporation Primaries 110 Operator - 2nd Shift in Sherman, Texas

Hiring Immediately! Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Primaries 110 Operator - 2nd Shift. The core hours are Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00pm. The rate for this position is $24.53 per hour plus a $.60 per hour shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do:

• Set up, operate, and monitor programs on the Trumpf 4K kw Fiber Laser along with the storage tower and automated system.

• Troubleshoot, adjust or align equipment to ensure proper operation.

• Ensure the machine is operating at peak efficiency.

• Monitor & adjust machine controls when necessary.

• Read blueprints, work orders, and other instructions to meet specifications.

• Assist in unloading and labeling cut parts.

• Inspection of cut parts for accuracy and quality.

• Work with supervisor & lead to ensure deadlines are met.

• This position is not limited to the responsibilities listed above.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• One (1) year of Manufacturing experience

• Experience reading blueprints and work orders.

• Experience using simple measuring tools (i.e. calipers and tape measures).

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

• Basic computer and math skills.

• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays, as needed by the business.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNC experience preferred

• Excellent organizational & time management skills.

• Solid math, analytical, and reasoning skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with or without accommodation.

• Ability to bend, twist, and squat throughout the workday.

• The vision requirements include seeing within reasonable, acceptable limits, including the ability to see up close, at a distance, depth perception, color discrimination, and peripherally.

• Use time management skills & prioritization to accomplish the day’s tasks.

• Must be self-motivated and able to work alone or in team environments.

• Requires PPE to include safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, cut-resistance gloves and sleeves, face shield when using a grinder, and hearing protection (as required in high-noise areas).

• Environment exposure includes sharp objects, pinch points, and oil.
