Insight Global DevOps Engineer (Bilingual) in Sherbrooke, Quebec

Job Description

The Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) Centre of Excellence is focused on aerospace with a specialization in RPAS technologies. The team is currently working on exciting opportunities with the LX300, one of the worlds best RPAS recently featured in the Canadian Defence Review (CDR). With a payload capacity of up to 180 kg and an endurance of up to 10 hours, this project aims to integrate multiple sensors (EO/IR, radar, ESM, AIS, transponder, etc.) on the LX300 to make it the best platform available for a multitude of missions.

A skilled DevOps engineer is essential to bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring continuous integration, delivery, and automation practices that maximize productivity and improve the reliability of our systems.

As a member of the team, you will work with cutting-edge technology and versatile tools, and you will play a key role in planning as well as executing work in an Agile environment. The incumbent will work in hybrid mode, with the option of teleworking up to two days per week.

Skills and Requirements

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Canadian security clearance and a positive controlled goods assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada as a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

5+ years of experience in DevOps

Extensive experience with containerization (dockers, Kubernetes, etc.)

Well versed in networking concepts (VPN, DNS, TLS/SSL, NTP, SSH, and TCP/IP, etc.)

Experience in Linux administration (e.g. RedHat/CentOS/Ubuntu)

Understanding and experience in managing CI/CD toolchain such as GitHub, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube Knowledge of RedHat OpenShift is an asset null
