Maxim Healthcare in Shepherdsville, KY (Bullitt County) is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 care to a pediatric patient who requires skilled nursing interventions for seizures and food intolerance. Availability for this position can be either full-time or part-time. The schedule needs are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm OR 9:00am to 5:00pm OR 8:00am to 6:00pm. This position offers flexibility with scheduling.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders

• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.

• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
