To ensure that the Spa & Fitness Center activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, and that the Hotel Actions have been introduced and implemented where appropriate.

To attend regular divisional communications meetings and ensure that departmental briefings and meetings are effective and conducted as necessary.

Assists in all Guests and Membership complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

Maximises associate productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.

Ensures inventory management and ongoing maintenance of Spa & Fitness Center operating equipment and other assets.

Ensures that the Department's operational budget is in line and that all costs are strictly controlled.

Constantly monitors and evaluates local, national and international market trends, and the competitor hotels’ sales initiatives, in order to make sure the Spa & Fitness Center programs and equipment remain competitive and cutting edge.

Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and skilled in all aspects of Spa&Fitnessoperations.

Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels.

Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements.

Minimum two to four years work experience as Spa&FitnessManager in a hotel with good standards.

Essential prerequisite is experience in the Hotel, Restaurant or Travel industry.
