Purpose of the Position:
Supply planner mitigates supply risk and improve supply lead time through capacity planning, priority management, and work with onsite team to improve Contract Manufacturer (CM)’s performance.
This role also leads supply process improvement, reporting and data maintenance.
Lead or participate new initiatives and projects as assigned.
Capacity planning. CM Capacity vs. forecast analysis on weekly basis, identify gaps and work with commercial and CM to close the gap (PO gap/supply gap).
Full Sheet (raw material) planning. Plan Full Sheet based on forecast and reserve enough supply for business needs. Work with Full Sheet team to close supply gap if any.
Finish Goods (FG) planning. Place order to CM and drive earlier output to satisfy customer PO.
Customer order promise. Promise order and work with CM/Warehouse to ensure on time delivery.
Inventory management. Manage SLOB and Excess, work with commercial to consume the stock or moving to scrapping process.
CM performance management. Report and track CM performance, work with onsite team to improve.
Data maintenance. Maintain and regular update required master data in MRP system.
Reporting. Collect information and timely deliver reports with quality. Create new reports for business needs.
Process improvement. Review current supply fulfillment process on regular business. Lead and work with cross function team to optimize or setup new process.
Project management. Can lead or coordinate in a project to achieve function or department goal.
Bachelor’s degree or above
5+ years working experience in supply chain. Planning experience is an advantage.
Multi-national company and cross culture working experience is preferred.
MRP system knowledge and hands on experience.
Good excel skills in data analysis and automation
