In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be an integral part of the Patient/Fetal Monitor development team and have the opportunity to work with the group of world-class, System Engineers who develop products that help save lives all over the world.

You are responsible for

• Overall technical leadership and be responsible for realization of full systems product release/life cycle management to ensure quality and compliance.

• Trade-off of product/system design specifications and interfaces determine feasibility of potential solutions, and leading technical & design reviews.

• Defines, monitors and meets performance and quality metrics.

• Philips measurement solution development

• Measurement solution application research

• Ensuring full Product Safety Risk Management in a regulation compliant manner.

• Third party measurement solution introduce and application research.

You are a part of

A professional R&D team with around 70 team peers in Shenzhen China. You have a direct reporting line to the Hardware Manager, R&D .

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor or above of biomedical engineering, with 5 years’ experience and/or comparable longer product development experience.

• Experience with patient monitor development.

• Experience with patient monitor parameter measurement development or clinical application, such as ECG, NBP, SpO2.

• Experience of product complaint handling, for example, visiting the hospital to communicate with the doctor or nurse to deal with the complaints.

• Experience in medical device design and strong medical IEC standard preferred.

• Strong sense of responsibility.

• Good communication skills, self-learning ability

• Continual improvement focused, self-directed and creative.

• Strong ability of writing the report of issue analysis and presenting the report in team with English.
