Amazon Global Selling: The Marketplace business exists in 20 countries with a vision to offer customers Earth’s largest selection. CN Existing Seller Management (ESM) team aim to deliver on this vision by explore, inspire and empower quality CN existing Sellers to adopt new programs and success on Amazon global marketplaces, with friction-free Seller experiences.

[Scope of Role]

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Team Leader to spearhead the growth and development of small and medium-sized CN sellers on Amazon's established marketplace. This pivotal role will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team of Account Managers, driving strategic initiatives, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to maximize seller success and marketplace expansion.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Lead and develop a high-performing Account Manager team focused on CN seller success.

  2. Drive strategic initiatives to maximize CN seller presence and growth in established Amazon marketplaces.

  3. Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies, including planning, goal setting, and performance reviews.

  4. Collaborate with CNGS functional teams and destination marketplace teams to implement programmatic approaches.

  5. Conduct deep-dive analyses of seller businesses and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.

  6. Engage closely with key marketplace stakeholders and drive cross-functional teams to remove blockers.

  7. Own end-to-end business strategy planning, reviews, and daily operations.

  8. Develop and implement seller support programs, including onboarding, education, and performance optimization.

  9. Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

  10. Identify and address challenges facing CN sellers, developing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.

  11. Ensure compliance with Amazon policies and manage potential risks associated with CN seller operations.

  12. Explore and evaluate opportunities for CN sellers to expand into new product categories or markets.

  13. Stay updated on e-commerce trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.

  14. Foster a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and best practice exchange within the team and broader organization.

  15. Present business reviews, performance reports, and strategic plans to senior leadership.

A day in the life

There is no typical day as account manager. You could start the day with an early meeting debating with global counterparts, or brainstorming session on a critical issue surfaced during biz review, or self-studying latest industry trends you are interested in, or fire-fighting an urgent escalation.

The topics you encounter are seldom repetitive, and most likely they are across a broad range of data analytics, program plan, to deal execution and opportunity optimization. In Amazon, it’s always Day 1!

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

  • Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience using analytical, account management, and productivity tools, such as, Oracle Business Intelligence, SalesForce, Tableau, or similar

  • Experience with Doubleclick (XSM, DFP), AdJuster or Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hiring and retaining digital advertising teams experience

  • Experience with annual brand and media planning
