Hyatt Assistant Director of F&B - Park Hyatt Shenzhen in SHENZHEN, China

Description:

§ Ensures that the Food andBeverage activities are aligned with the respective Corporate Strategy, andthat the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate.

§ Ensures the smoothoperation of the Food and Beverage Department in the absence of the Director ofFood and Beverage.

§ Handles all guest andinternal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner,following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.

le scheduling to meet thefinancial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.

§ Ensures that each profitcentre (e.g. Outlet, Bar, Banquets) is operated in line with maximising profitwhile delivering on the brand promise.

§ Encourages Heads ofDepartment to look for Marketing and Public Relations opportunities to increaseawareness and ultimately business.

§ Works closely with otherExecutive Committee members in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing onthe overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.

§ Tastes and monitors thefood and beverage products served throughout the operation, provides feedbackwhere appropriate.

Qualifications:

Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Director of F&B, or Senior Restaurant Manager in larger operation. Good operational, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must, and banqueting experience an asset.
