AVENTURE STAFFING Store Manager in Sheldon, Iowa

Store Manager | Salary Range $55,000-$75,000

Are you a professional who leads by example? Are you looking to take your management experience to the next level? If so, this job is for you!A local retail appliance company in the Brandon, SD area is looking for a Store Manager to join their team. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of store operations including Human Resources, Accounting, and Sales Functions. You will be the face of the company for the Brandon location. You may be the determining factor whether we have a lifelong customer or not.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
  • Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Promotes optimum staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements.
  • Ensures availability of merchandise and services.
  • Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans.
  • Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
  • Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
  • Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
  • Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
  • Leads operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma,GEDorequivalent level of education.
  • Minimum of 1-year previous management experience required; previous appliance sales preferred.
  • Strong phone, computer, Microsoft office products, and keyboarding skills required.
  • Exude confidence and comfort in interacting with customers and associates.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and customers in any situation.
  • Ability tomultitaskand have strong attention to detail when performing tasks.
  • Ability to explain features of new appliances effectively and efficiently.

Benefits and Pay:

  • Salary Range $55,000-$75,000.
