Township of Shelby Chief Gene Shepherd Park Recreation Aide in Shelby Township, Michigan
The Charter Township of Shelby Parks, Recreation and Maintenance Department is now accepting applications for a seasonal/part-time *Chief Gene Shepherd Park Recreation Aide. * Interested applicants must be at least 16 years old and available to work approximately 25-30 hours a week, Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The hourly wage for this position is $10.41 per hour, no benefits
Some duties associated with this classification include, but are not limited to:
- Interact with Spray Park and general park attendees
- Utilize a computer system to coordinate concessions and daily/annual admission sales
- Handle monies from concession sales
- Work effectively with other staff, volunteers and participants of activities
- Train new hires
- Maintain order and enforce rules and regulations
- Prepare accurate reports
- Assist in overseeing daily Spray Park operations
- Keep facilities in a clean and orderly condition
- Give information to the public regarding the park and Spray Park
- Setup program activities and serve as an on-site assistant
- Stack chairs and set up tables.
- Lock and secure buildings as necessary
