JOB REQUIREMENTS: Payroll Manager - 51231 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Overview: Johnsonville and its Members are committed to having the highest impact on our customers\' success. We currently have an opportunity for a detail-oriented, proactive, problem-solving leader, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, to join our Finance Shared Services team in the position of Manager - Payroll. As the Manager - Payroll, you\'ll have an opportunity to showcase yourcommitment to providing excellent customer service, continuous learning, and improving processes along with coaching and developing the Payroll Team. Responsibilities: * Lead the Payroll (Domestic and Global) Team and manage all functions related including: + Accurate and timely payroll to members along with tax filings and payments to appropriate government authorities + Proper calculation and submission of garnishments (child support/levy) and other deductions + Expat payrolls along with foreign and domestic relocation expenses including associated gross-up calculations * Develop team members through 1:1 sessions, cross-training, project work and other opportunities as well as direct and prioritize team workloads * Recruit and retain top Payroll talent along with evaluating and monitoring the team\'s performance * Minimize risk and protect company assets through internal controls, systems and process oversight * Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations as it relates to Payroll * Work with cross functional teams by leading projects and strategic initiatives including supporting mergers and acquisitions * Direct and oversee system testing for upgrades and implementations * Participate in networking groups and be a payroll subject matter expert; understanding full business processes for the Time-to-Pay and Hire-to-Retire value streams * Be an integral part of the month-end close process by overseeing accruals, journal entries, reconciliations and necessary adjustments to ensure financial statements are accurate and reliable * Administer Johnsonville\'s monthly Great Performance Share bonus program, including annual system configuration * Manage third-party vendor relationships, contracts and pricing * Represent functional area for various audits (year-end financial, workers\' compensation, payroll, tax, and corporate social responsibility) along with directing requests and preparing and reviewing data * Develop and manage departmental budget Location: Global Sausage Headquarters, Sheboygan Falls, WI (Our office is about an hour north of Milwaukee) Coach: Finance Manager - Shared Services Member Status: Full Time, Salaried - Opportunity for Hybrid Schedule Travel: Less than 10% Benefits: Members have potential for a monthly bonus, 401k with a company match and profit sharing.
