Job Title: Truck Assembly

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled mechanic to install and assemble equipment on work trucks, including beds, plows, tool boxes, crane holders, ramp holders, mud flaps, and tail lights. This role involves reading blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts, performing testing and inspections on all installed components, and wiring as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble equipment on work trucks, such as beds, plows, tool boxes, crane holders, ramp holders, mud flaps, and tail lights.

• Read and interpret blueprints and work diagrams for hydraulic equipment installation.

• Perform testing and inspections on all installed components.

• Utilize hand, power, and air tools for various assembly tasks.

• Conduct wiring tasks as required.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of mechanical aptitude (e.g., auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, military mechanic, industrial mechanic, experience running construction heavy equipment, rebuilding trucks, working on farm equipment, maintenance, machine builder, crane installer, etc.).

• Ability to read blueprints or work instructions.

• Proficiency in using hand, power, and air tools.

• Ownership of basic hand tools, including sockets and socket sets (1/4” to 1”, 10MM to 25MM), and a 1/2” drive impact drill.

• Ability to read a tape measure.

• Steel toes or composite toe shoes.

• Capability to lift 50 lbs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00
