Key Account Manager – UAE
To ensure achievement of personal objectives, including sales, market growth
To identify key stakeholders (internal & external) and partner with them to ensure availability of products
To prepare a robust account commercial plan for each account to achieve business objectives, including specifying how time and personal resources would be best deployed.
To segment local accounts according to potential and propensity (i.e. likelihood of securing business) and to use such analysis along relevant Commercial Team to develop Accounts commercial plans.
To maintain accurate customer records and complete administration in a timely manner in compliance with company minimum standards. CRM input
To monitor and critically review implementation of tactical plans against key performance indicators/critical success factors and to take corrective action as required in agreement with relevant sales managers
To develop/propose commercial strategies within area (e.g. hospital pricing) to optimize sales growth and profitability
To facilitate customer education in relevant disease areas to increase awareness of best practice and clinical advantages of products if needed for Business Development
Secure hospital formulary status and usage in key accounts and where relevant primary care support for promoted products in accordance with account plan
Facilitate and negotiate contracts with Key Accounts
To remain up to date with changes in the national health system to ensure that account plans develop in line with customers.
Liaise with corporate contacts, build and develop relationships
Working with the direct manager, devise a detailed tailored plan that maximizes sales in the short and long term
Evaluate and document partnership, ensuring all activity is recorded accurately on database.
Continuously Provide guidance and Navigation for the sales teams on accounts performance in alignment with their managers.
Conduct Monthly updates meeting per account for Sales Team sharing consumption and Sales per Account for key strategic accounts and B+L Brands
Supporting Sales Team in field joining them when required for Access with Key accounts key procurement and KOL pharmacists.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
4-5 years’ experience in the UAE market
2+ years of successful pharmaceutical institutional (including formulary responsibility) or account based selling experience is mandatory.
Having knowledge and understanding of relevant protocols and compliance guidelines
Strong networking and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication in English, with ability to communicate orally efficiently and productively and in writing, and you can influence, persuade and be credible to senior managers and external opinion leaders.

Experienced in Commercial and Trade agreement with Key Accounts in UAE
Joining Sales Team at the Field 20% of the Time in alignment with their Managers
Spending 60% of the Time in field to meet own customers.
Spending 20% Time on Office work in an alignment with Reporting manager and Team meetings
Travelling Flexibility within UAE to meet Key Decision Makers at the accounts.
