Job Information

Responsibility/Duty：

Gather, analyze, and input key information concerning the different agricultural products into the supply and demand balance sheet
Manage and keep the local supply and demand up to date. Discuss locally and with the different trading desks in Cargill global
Connect with the different merchants on feed demand and analyze and report the impacts in the market.

Monitor the different agricultural products’ prices in key locations
Maintain and analyze daily cash prices and correlate them with commodity exchange futures prices
Report price changes in the various regions, more specifically on how price changes affect import and export economics.

Assist the Trading Manager on covering different areas of risk management including but not limited to:

Hedging cash purchases
Trading futures
Arbitrating between cash and futures, including delivery on the exchange
Keep trading position spread sheet updated (Long and Short)
Keep Cargill global trading team fully informed on major developments in the China commodity exchanges, cash markets and general environment in China
Write daily recaps on the different commodities traded
Write weekly recaps for the Chinese Risk Meeting on the different commodities traded

Daily communication with Cargill global trading teams and customers regarding market developments
Conduct agency business for the different agricultural products
Work together with other function teams to manage market and customer risk
