Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of advertising and ecommerce and offers advertisers a rich array of innovative advertising solutions across Amazon’s mobile and desktop websites. We believe that advertising, when done well, can enhance the customer experience and generate a positive return on investment for our advertising partners. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our talented, diverse & international marketing team to help scale our growing Advertising support program for our SMB (Small-medium business). As an Ads consultant you are passionate about the range of Amazon products available to our advertisers, understanding business drivers for performance, drive adoption of HVA (high value actions), and engaging with advertisers to deliver and grow the advertiser.

You play a key role on the Ads consultant team, growing the business by being the customer expert, developing audience and optimization recommendations. You possess strong analytical ability, and will develop deep expertise in Amazon’s products and proprietary metrics to build winning campaigns and optimizing performance to derive insights and meet our advertisers’ needs. You also thrive in ambiguous situations, with exemplary stakeholder management and communication skills, helping you work across global locations.

Key job responsibilities

  • Be an expert on Amazon solutions and create/adapt recommendations based on advertiser needs.

  • In-depth data analysis to develop actionable insights and recommendations for campaigns

  • Serves as main Ads point of contact for Advertisers and act as an enabler & lead for all regional 1:1 SSO support programs

  • Identify common blockers faced by new and existing Advertisers and provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to improve advertiser experience

  • Identify opportunities to improve designed Amazon product based on customer feedback, data analysis, and feature gaps with competitive products

  • Hire, develop and lead a team of top performing inhouse, vendor specialists & able to operate in autonomy in their respective countries.

Basic Qualifications

    • 5+ years of professional experience with online advertising, e.g. as Account or Campaign Manager at a publisher, as media planner at an agency or similar.
    • University degree with an emphasis in Management, Marketing, Advertising or Business with near native fluency in english & Japanese
    • Experience in a data and results-oriented environment with external customer interaction
    • An exceptional eye for detail, ability to solve problems and given the fast-paced nature of our division with the aptitude to multi task.

Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA or other related Master's degree
    • Passion for online advertising and a track record of delivering outstanding results
    • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
    • Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
    • Experience with tools such as Salesforce.
